今日（3月7日）は消防記念日
2017年3月6日今日は消防記念日1948(昭和23)年のこの日、「消防組織法」が施行された。明治以来消防は警察の所管とされていたが、これにより、条例に従って市町村長が消防を管理する「自治体消防制度」となり、各市町村に消防本部・消防署・消防団の全部または一部を設置することが義務附けられた。これを記念し、2年後の1950(昭和25)年、国家消防庁(現在の消防庁)がこの日を消防記念日とした。
