この秋、ラグビー日本代表として、ワールドカップ(Ｗ杯)で名をあげた五郎丸歩選手(29)。様々なメデイアで取り上げられ、「今年の顔」とも言える存在です。来年2月から、南半球最高峰リーグ「スーパーラグビー」(SR)のレツズ(オーストラリア)に加わることになりました。11月初め、所属チーム(ヤマハ発動機)の地元、静岡県内で開かれた記者会見で、「ゼロからスター卜が切れる。失うものはないので思い切りやっていきたい」と意気込みを語りました。
